Encora was created in November 2015 by energy professionals looking to help clients exploit opportunities related to the changing needs of the energy market.
We provide project development, owners engineer, consultancy and operations management services to companies wishing to own and trade peaking and embedded generation plant. Our customers are commercial energy users, energy traders and financiers and we have a track record in delivering projects that meet their goals.
Changes to the UK Energy Market
The UK electricity market is changing to a more decentralised model driven by deregulation and increased renewable generation.
This will result in reduced costs, improved security of supply and reduced CO₂ emissions as the system evolves. This new market offers significant opportunities where energy providers, investors and consumers can realise lower bills and increased profits by deploying new energy assets as well as optimising the existing energy system
Encora Energy are at the forefront of these changes and assist our clients by dealing with the practicalities of developing, installing, operating and maintaining new energy systems of all types. We have a broad experience base including renewable, CHP, battery storage systems, fuel cells, gas engines and gas turbines, all supported by our energy management and optimisation capabilities ensuring equipment is available and efficient

Encora assists asset owners and investors to develop new projects for their portfolio. We have a track record of identifying and developing over 300MW of new flexible generation assets for customers.
Owners Engineer and Project Management
Customers need more than an OEM and contract. Encora Energy provides a range of agile on site services to support clients and contractors.
Operational Management
Customers need more than an LTSA. Encora Energy provides a turnkey operational management solution for power plant owners that includes managing the day to day running of installed assets.
CHiPCoB
Encora Energy became frustrated when we couldn’t find a control system that met all of our needs at the correct price point so we developed CHiPCoB
CHiPCoB is an inexpensive, secure control interface aimed at allowing energy suppliers/users to actively control assets within commercial and industrial scenarios to maximise energy value and costs.
