Encora Energy is delivering a combined heat and power (CHP) and solar PV project that supplies electricity and process steam to a production plant. The facility has an overall capacity of 2 MWe, with up to 500 kWe available for export. The solar component includes a 300 kWe rooftop array distributed across six major buildings on site.
Encora has been acting as Owners Engineer from the early stages, overseeing design development and evaluating contractor tenders to ensure optimal solutions. Following financial close, Encora will continue in the Owners Engineer role through detailed engineering design, installation, and commissioning.
Upon completion, Encora will assume responsibility for asset management of the generation equipment. All tendering activities are complete, and construction is scheduled to commence in 2025. This project highlights Encora’s integrated approach to managing complex energy assets from development through to long-term operation.
